Application for Direct Funding

Direct Funding is for specific projects with well-defined and specific outcomes. Such projects can be a one-time or multi-year commitment.
For us to serve you better in your funding needs, please submit your proposal to Tote Board at least three months (90 days) before the commencement date of your project. However, for projects, which require funding beyond $500,000, you will need to submit your proposal at least six months (180 days) before the commencement date of your project.
To apply for direct funding, we have prepared the following templates to help you with your application:
General Project Template
- For request for sponsorship of a programme / project / event
Step 1 - Download the form to your personal computer.
Step 2 - Complete all items in the form.
Step 3 - Send the completed form back to Tote Board via one of our submission modes below.
Fund-Raising Project Template - For request to organise an event, such as a dinner, golf tournament, concert/performance etc, to raise funds for your own organisation or other charitable organisations.
Step 1: Download the form to your personal computer.
Step 2: Complete all items in the form.
Step 3: Send the completed form back to Tote Board via one of our submission modes below.

Alternatively, if you are not using the above templates in your proposal submission, please make sure that it contains at least the following information when you submit to Tote Board via one of our submission modes below:

- Legal status, membership and affiliation, IPC (if any).
- Address, e-mail address and telephone number of contact person.

| Project Details |
- Description of the project (including implementation date and how the project will be conducted).
- Objective(s) of the project (outcome, output and workplan), specifically for the area where you are requesting the Board’s sponsorship.
- Itemised budget (breakdown of the income, including government subvention, and expenditure of the project).
- Your organisation’s latest annual report and audited accounts.
- Information of the Project Manager.
- Amount of sponsorship you are requesting from the Board.
- Period of sponsorship.
- Other main sponsors approached (including funds raised to-date).
- Whether the project would still be implemented if funds are not forthcoming from sponsors, including the Board. If yes, how the project will be funded.
- Any other information that would be helpful to the Board in evaluating your request for sponsorship.
