TOTE BOARD OVERSEAS SCHOLARSHIP IN CAPACITY BUILDING FOR THE SOCIAL SERVICE SECTOR

Application for the FY2009 Tote Board Overseas Scholarship in Capacity Building for the Social Service Sector has closed. The Board has awarded three new scholarships for FY2009. These scholarships for executive courses are tenable at prestigious universities such as Harvard University and Stanford University.

Since the inauguration of the scholarship programme in FY2008, the Board has already sent seven scholars, five to Harvard University to attend its Strategic Perspectives in Nonprofit Management course, and another two to Stanford University to attend the Executive Programme for Nonprofit Leaders course. More details on our scholars can be found here.

The scholarship programme is open to all leaders of Voluntary Welfare Organisations/Nonprofit Organisations (VWOs/NPOs) in the social service sector, with strong preference given to Chief Executive Officers and Executive Directors. The Board reserves the right to decide on the course to send the scholarship awardees to. All selected applicants will be further subject to acceptance by the universities.

Do look out for the new round of invitation to apply for the FY2010 Tote Board Scholarship.
