Tote Board is a statutory board under the Ministry of Finance, established in Jan 1988. We exercise management oversight and governance over Pools, a wholly-owned private company of Tote Board, and STC, a proprietary club of Tote Board. We ensure that Pools and STC conduct their gaming businesses in a socially responsible manner.

Tote Board channels the gaming surpluses of Pools and STC as well as the collection of casino entry levies to grantmaking, to uplift the community, by Giving Hope to vulnerable groups and Improving Lives of all in Singapore.

As a broad-based grantmaking organisation that helps to contribute to nation-building, Tote Board supports diverse and worthy projects in the sectors of Arts, Community Development, Education, Health, Social Service and Sports. Over the last 10 years (up to Mar 2016), the Tote Board Group, comprising Singapore Pools and Singapore Turf Club, had contributed $6.1 billion to uplift the community by Giving Hope to vulnerable groups and Improving Lives of all in Singapore.

Tote Board’s approach to grantmaking is to work with stakeholders and partners to identify pressing needs and to curate and implement sustainable programmes, to benefit the community. Illustrations of our grants commitment include:
