Breast Cancer Foundation’s Pink Bash 2012

Guests of the pink bash event organised by Breast Cancer Foundation (BCF) were dressed for celebration with dashes of pink in the evening of 1 October 2012, to mark the 15th anniversary of BCF.

Guest-of-Honour, Dr Ng Eng Hen, Minister for Defence and one of the founding members of BCF, graced the event, celebrating the BCF 15-year journey as meaningful, effective and heartening – made possible with tremendous support from its sponsors and friends. With this, BCF recognises Tote Board as one of its ‘Corporate Friend for Life’ with a small token of appreciation. The pink bash event also showcased the launch of BCF’s new corporate logo, which comprises two ribbons placed side by side to form a heart, conveying the message that information dissemination and moral support for breast cancer are no longer driven by women alone but by men as well, who can play an equally important role.

BCF is a non-profit organisation set up in 1997 with the mission of eradicating breast cancer as a life-threatening disease. It propagates awareness of breast cancer and education through a slew of public education events and publications, and advocates early detection through regular screening.

Since 2000, Tote Board has been in support of BCF’s fund-raising events, which include the recent ones such as the Pink Ribbon Charity Golf 2012 and Pink Wave Party 2011.
