Singapore Pools & Singapore Turf Club awarded Exempt Operator Status under Remote Gambling Act

The Ministry of Home Affairs announced on 29 September that Singapore Pools (Pools) and Singapore Turf Club (STC) have been found suitable as exempt operators under the Remote Gambling Act. Following this announcement, Pools and STC had issued these Media Releases:

Tote Board is a statutory board under the Ministry of Finance, established in Jan 1988. We exercise management oversight and governance over Pools, a wholly-owned private company of Tote Board, and STC, a proprietary club of Tote Board. We ensure that Pools and STC conduct their gaming businesses in a socially responsible manner.

Over the last 10 years (up to Mar 2016), the Tote Board Group, comprising Singapore Pools and Singapore Turf Club, had contributed $6.1 billion to uplift the community by Giving Hope to vulnerable groups and Improving Lives of all in Singapore.

• Tote Board Community Healthcare Fund at $98.5 Million for FY2015-FY2019

• Development of Gardens by the Bay at $420 Million

• Development of National Gallery Singapore at $432 Million
