This device empowers patients with advanced muscular dystrophy to continue using computers, smartphones, and tablets to communicate with others.
Now, patients in the advanced stage of muscular dystrophy patients can continue to use computers, smartphones and tablets to communicate with other people independently, thanks to a new assistive device developed by the National University of Singapore Institute for Health Innovation & Technology.
The innovation, known as the FUNction Device, has undergone extensive user testing and research, involving patients, caregivers, physiotherapists, and medical professionals. Watch to find out how it can potentially be a gamechanger.
