Review Panel to be set up to examine TOTO Incident on Remote Platforms
Singapore, 15 January 2020 – The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has issued a statement on the incident involving Singapore Pools (Private) Limited’s (SPPL) system that generates TOTO Quick Pick and System Roll bets placed via remote platforms.
Tote Board takes a serious view of the incident. SPPL is an agent appointed by Tote Board to develop and operate a socially responsible, safe and trusted gaming environment for their customers.
Tote Board will set up a Review Panel, chaired by Mr Moses Lee, Chairman Tote Board, to review the causes of the incident, how it was managed and measures to prevent future recurrence. The Panel will comprise independent Board Members and external expert resources.
