1. Is there a preference for qualifications in selected disciplines ?

We do not have preference for selected disciplines in qualifications of candidates, unless it is a professional requirement as stipulated in the job requirements. We believe in building and nurturing a multi-disciplinary and diverse team, ready to take on existing and future challenges. We focus on candidates with the correct levels of attitude, aptitude, experience and expertise, candidates who show organisational-fit and job-fit, and candidates ready to contribute to and grow with Tote Board.

2. What are the career development opportunities?

We believe in investing in our staff, to develop every staff to their fullest potential and to help every staff to succeed in their career. We empower staff to chart and to articulate their own career aspirations, through quality conversations with their Supervisors and facilitated interventions by HR of Tote Board. Staff will have the opportunities for vertical career progressions to take on larger roles and responsibilities and lateral changes in job roles for increased exposure in Tote Board.

3. How are starting salaries determined in Tote Board?

Starting salaries will be determined based on the candidate's credentials such as qualification, work experience and skills, and the job requirements.

6. As a holder of specialised qualifications such as ACCA, CISA, CISSP etc, what career can I look forward to with Tote Board?

All eligible job applicants will be considered for appointment. They are selected based on objective criteria e.g. qualifications, work experience, job competencies and other relevant job requirements that best match the requirements of the position. As such, applicants with specialised qualifications would be considered as a whole, taking into account other qualifications (if any), experience and job competencies for a position.

7. Would Tote Board conduct reference checks on job applicants?

Tote Board may conduct cross-references with the candidate's previous organisation(s).

8. What are the working hours like?

Tote Board operates on a 5-day work week. All employees work 42 hours a week with flexible starting working hours.
